FROM THE ARCHIVE – POTTERY SEMINARS

The Queens Park Pottery Seminars were a regular fixture of the Centre’s programme for more than a decade during the 1980s and 1990s. Each one-day event gave aspiring artists a chance to see demonstrations from some of the most exciting and talented potters working in the medium.

The seminars showcased the featured artist’s creative inspirations and processes, with students able to witness professional ceramicists’ work close-up. Several of the visiting potters gifted finished pieces to the Centre’s archive, with many still on display in our Glaze Studio – such as these pieces by Chris Bramble & Don McNeill.
