A new month is upon us and we’ve plenty of great live entertainment lined up at our Limelight Theatre in March, spanning music, drama, and comedy. See below for this month’s performances.

CWTSH (SAT 5 MARCH)
Cwtsh are an Aylesbury-based blues band whose sound is a mix of covers which keep to the wonderful traditions of the music, but also plenty of original material.
Whilst paying homage to all the old masters, we can’t forget our enthusiasm for modern sounds, emotions and ideas. Strong influences include B.B King, Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac, Free and Muddy Waters – but the list could go on all day.

OTWAY & BARRETT (FRI 11 MARCH)
This magnetic bond still holds after more than 40 years of attempted escapes and still loved for their total in-yer-face originality, the contrast between the dead pan humour of Barrett and mad onstage antics of Otway are hilarious to watch.
John’s lyrical genius and Willy’s outstanding musicianship (he seems to play almost every stringed instrument known to man, plus a few hybrids of his own making!)

JOHN OTWAY BAND (SAT 12 MARCH)
John Otway is an English singer-songwriter who has built a sizeable cult audience through extensive touring, a surreal sense of humour and a self-deprecating underdog persona.
Expect madcap mayhem and some scintillating stunts from a man old enough to know better…..and be surprised at just what a showman and musician really lies underneath the tomfoolery.

PYGMALION (SAT 19 MARCH)
Bernard Shaw’s classic play is brought to life in a very special rehearsed reading.
With the production stripped back to just the actors and script, this is a chance to shed new light on an iconic play, which charts Eliza Dolittle’s encounters with Henry Higgins as he sets out to ready her for London high society.
This performance is presented by our in-house production company Unbound.

SHAZIA MIRZA (SAT 26 MARCH)
“What have I been doing this past year? Apart from sitting on the settee in my pyjamas, squeezing my ingrowing hairs whilst watching documentaries on Ted Bundy? I have been staring into space, coming to the terrible realization that maybe my parents were right. I should have listened to them years ago. Why didn’t I?
But people keep telling me I’ll be ok because I’m a strong woman. What does that mean? I survived The Island with Bear Grylls – who knew that would prepare me for what was about to come…”
