DISCOVER LOCAL CREATIVE TALENT AT QPAC THIS JUNE FOR BUCKS ART WEEKS 2023
This year’s Bucks Art Weeks exhibition highlights local artists who explore texture in nature through charcoal and textiles.
June sees the return of the Buckinghamshire county-wide celebration of hundreds of contemporary artists and makers for the annual Bucks Art Weeks event. As the hub, heart and home of the arts in Buckinghamshire, Queens Park Arts Centre is the perfect setting to discover local creative talent at their free-to-view exhibition taking place as part of its Artisan project.

The Bucks Art Weeks Artisan exhibition focuses on the exploration of texture in nature through textile artists Marie Jones and Rosie Blacher, and charcoal artist Liz Cotgreave. The three local artists will take part in a free two-week exhibition as part of the Artisan space, along with free artist demonstrations and drop-in sessions. You can even learn a new craft from textile artist Marie Jones by booking onto her bespoke one-day needle felting courses as part of the event. QPAC are also offering a number of other creative courses taking place during the two-week event including block printing, pottery throwing and ceramic collage, as well as their weekly programme of workshops. To find out more visit www.queenspark.com for information on free events and how to book onto creative courses and workshops.
