Queens Park Arts Centre’s summer Open Day returned on Saturday 13 May with a fun-filled day giving visitors the perfect opportunity to discover everything that the hub, heart and home of culture and creativity in Buckinghamshire has to offer.

The day was filled with an array of inspirational artist & maker demonstrations and free have-a-go workshops giving everyone the opportunity to explore their creative side and even discover a new hobby or two!

Demonstrations and taster sessions included ceramics, woodwork, Chinese calligraphy, watercolours and jewellery making, alongside well-being activities including yoga & meditation drop-ins.

The Limelight Theatre showcased a whole host of free live performances spanning music, dance, and drama, including an appearance from award-winning storytelling company Unbound.

A special thanks to all our staff and volunteers who made the event such a success, we wouldn’t have been able to do it without you! Also a huge thanks to Unbound Theatre, SDSD dance school and all of the workshop groups and tutors for providing fantastic entertainment throughout the day.

Don’t worry if you missed out this time, we will be opening our doors again in the Autumn term for another fantastic Open Day on Saturday 9th September!
