To celebrate the start of the new term, we’re will be hosting a special free Open Day on Saturday 10 September. The event promises to be the perfect opportunity for anyone with an interest in the arts to discover everything QPAC has to offer.

Taster workshops will be running in each of our custom art studios – a perfect opportunity to sample pottery, painting, woodwork and more. Our tutors will be on hand to discuss our ever-expanding programme of workshops, how you can get involved, and offer tips for how to discover and develop your creativity.

Live performances in our Limelight Theatre space include appearances from the students of SDSD – who run dance classes every week here at Queens Park – and the storytellers of Unbound, our award-winning production company. There’ll also be live music from students of our jazz band and guitar club.

Two new exhibitions will be open to view – a selection of abstract textile art from Jo Evans (aka 100 Hours), and work from students of our Monday Life Drawing Group.

The QPAC Open Day takes place on Saturday 10 September, from 11am to 3pm. All of the activities offered as part of the event entirely free to attend, no pre-booking required.
