SEPTEMBER AT THE LIMELIGHT

With the autumn season almost upon us, we’re previewing the eclectic mix of shows on at our Limelight Theatre during September. There really is something for everyone this month!

STORYTELLER IMPROV (3 SEP)

Get ready for a night of improvised spontaneous storytelling. The Unbound Storyteller convention is about to get underway. Storytellers are gathering to share their latest ripping yarns and flex their fable-weaving muscles. And best of all? It’s up to you what tales they tell.

This special improvisation show sees a talented cast create brand new short plays, solo stories and compete in a few light-hearted games.

This performance is presented by our in-house production company Unbound.

DAVID SINCLAIR FOUR (24 SEP)

David Sinclair is the singer, songwriter, bandleader and sometime music journalist who grew up just about as slow as you can and still plays guitar in a rock & roll band. He brings his beloved DS4 back to the Limelight for a very special show to celebrate the release of the group’s magnificent new album Apropos Blues.

Expect distinguished guests, both on and off stage, as the DS4 showcase songs from their brand new album, Apropos Blues, along with firm favourites including Life Gone Cold and sensational covers of songs by Chuck Berry, Lou Reed, Ray Davies and more. A great night guaranteed. Just don’t step on their blue suede shoes!
